This coat is wonderful and warm! I usually dislike wearing coats in the winter because they can be bulky and heavy. However, this one is very light and not bulky at all. It is made from a material known as scuba suede, which features a soft, ultra-suede surface on the outside and imitation lambswool on the inside.
In seam side pockets below the waist stay hidden from view.
It fastens at the neckline and waist with a brass snap on a small leather strap. I used faux leather on the inside front to improve washability and provide a soft feel.
The coat is both machine washable and machine dryable. It has undergone three washer and dryer cycles: once before cutting, once after cutting, and once after the final details were applied. For washing, use the delicate cycle with cool water. The simplest way to care for this coat is to spot clean it with a cold, damp cloth and allow it to air out between wearings.
